Prices

The very most I charge for suicide cleanup is $999. This applies to single suicide scenes. It does not include multiple suicide, murder suicide, or shotgun suicides. Whichever incident applies to your suicide cleanup needs, you can trust my prices reflect a solo suicide cleanup technician's self-employed prices. I quote my prices on the telephone.

Decomposition Cleanup

Decomposition cleanup may follow a suicide because a suicide's victims death may go without attention for a prolonged period of time. When this happens, blood and other potentially infectious materials might contaminate large areas of furnishings, floors, walls, and more. On upper floors blood may seep onto the ceiling below and even into the room below. I once cleaned a handgun suicide where the victim bleed to death. His blood migrated to the bedroom ceiling below his bedroom and onto the bed in the room below.

As soon as the heart stops decomposition begins. It takes only seconds for the bacteria populations upon the human body and within the human body to begin changing in population. Bacteria once kept in check no longer have predictors. As a consequence the populate rapidly. The warmer Costa Mesa climate, the faster bacteria populate and add to decomposition.

My prices for decomposition remain below $999, whatever the nature of a single suicide cleanup. I do not reconstruct what must be demolished while performing suicide cleanup in Costa Mesa. If I did I would have a conflict of interest, a reason to destroy more then needs destruction.

Homicide Cleanup

Homicide cleanup accounts for about 10% of my death cleanup business. Roughly 60% of these occur in residences. Usually residential victims dies as a result of handguns in the hands of a male perpetrator. Often these homicide occur on a bed or in a kitchen.

My prices for a single homicide remain the same as for death cleanup and suicide cleanup. I do not change my maximum price of $999, except when a shotgun is used.

Suicide's Traumas

Almost without exception, on suicide cleanup jobs I find two types of catastrophic trauma, physical and emotional. My last suicide cleanup job involved a mother's death following a family discord. The family remained in the house as I clean up the mother's fluid remains.

The family sat in the living room with the TV on loud. I worked in a nearby bedroom. Although the family appeared to watch TV, they were not.

When I completed my work and motioned the father that I needed to speak with him, he first stared at me without comprehending. Then he sort of shook himself from his revelry. His emotional trauma placed him in a state of post traumatic stress syndrome, I would imagine.       top

Female suicide occur much less often then male suicides. White females account for about 17% of suicides.

Women do nut uses guns as often as men. When they do they try to control the consequences of traumatic injury to their surroundings. Often when using guns they places towels, blankets, and pillow around and over their head. Even these efforts usually fail to contain the debris as it violently projects itself onto and into the surround walls and ceiling.

A number of times I have found bullet holes showing a trajectory to the outdoors and into a neighbor's home. I believe that if I remain a suicide cleanup technician long enough I will find "collateral damage" (a homicide) caused by suicide by handgun, rifle, or shotgun.
