". . . after about 20 minutes, the death odors begin to subside." Eddie Evans

Do not believe cleaning company employees when they say that death's odors are dangerous; they lie.

Lake Forest

Affordable Death Cleanup

I offer an affordable after death cleanup service for homicide, suicide, unattended death, and decomposition. I clean after death throughout Lake Forest as well as California. My experience includes over 14 years of death cleanup and military trauma cleanup.

Why I cost less

I charge less for cleaning because I own my own death cleanup company and do my own cleaning. I do not need to pay employees' medical insurance and workman's compensation. I do not need to pay county employees kickbacks. To learn more visit orange-county-crime-scene-cleanup.com. When I'm gone, death cleanup in Lake Forest will go higher. Without my low prices, the other death cleanup companies will have no incentive to lower their prices. But then, they have little incentive to lower prices because they have a guaranteed business, thanks to our Lake Forest County Sheriff-Coroner's Department.

County Employee Kickbacks

You may have received a referral to a death cleanup company from a county employee. Orange County Sheriff-Coroner and Orange County Administrator employees refer to my competitors, but not to me. This is not true of all employees, but I do have proof in writing and from more than one client.and client.

You may have found county referred companies charge three, four, and even more times than I charge. Because these companies have guaranteed work from county employees they do not compete in the open, free market. As a result their prices remain very high. They also use employees and employees require higher cleaning fees, although the workers do not share in the enormous profits.

Because of cronyism in Orange County's local government, coroner's office and administrator's office, I also have an ORANGE-COUNTY-SEWAGE-CLEANUP. Lake Forest sewage cleanup also has reasonable prices.

I should mention that my Lake Forest suicide cleanup web site needs all the help it can get to do well on the Internet in Lake Forest. I'm not quite sure what I can do to help it, but I will do my best to find out more. It's important to help Lake Forest's grieving families.

For anyone interested in my quest to create free enterprise in crime scene cleanup, visit my Orange County web site. I discuss what happens in the Orange County coroner and administrator's offices.

Affordable Explained

If ever a relative word existed, besides "relative," affordable proves the point for the relative differences between people and the circumstances. So when it comes to affordable death cleanup, we know some folks have more than enough to afford my reduced price death cleanup fees. For these grieving families with a little more discretionary income, I'm pleased to pass on my solo cleaner death cleanup savings. I also pass on my fixed priced biohazard pickup fees, which thanks to Stericycle remain very fair.

For those without discretionary income for death cleanup, I offer even more price reductions, if not a total death cleanup, but for goods-in-trade. This means that I will barter my labor and costs for something in return. Computers and related electronics will help reduce my fees. Some tools have value to me and may go toward my fee. At the end of the fiscal year I report to INS how much wealth I bartered. A suicide cleanup, a decomposition cleanup, or other biohazard cleanup bartered saves you money and still covers part or all of my fees.

Blood Cleanup

For some people in Lake Forest, what I call my "affordable" prices are not so affordable. Although I charge hundreds of dollars rather than thousands of dollars like my crony competitors, still, "hundreds of dollars" is not so affordable for some of us at times. It would be nice if we could have that discretionary income to have others to our blood cleanup following the death of a loved one, but sometimes life involves cleaning up blood from a death scene.

It is not really so terrible. In fact, the "horrific" part is in the mind. I call it "biology" because it is biology.

Most of us have experienced cleaning. Most of us have at one time or another cleaned up after something we would rather not have cleaned up. Besides, we all learn and we can all learn to clean up blood following a death.

"Patience" leads our thoughts when we begin to learn blood cleanup skills.

Once we have seen the death scene we need to back out, close the door, have a seat and think about what we were looking at. If you are new at this you will have missed much. Just the same, thinking through the actions you will take helps before you begin. For example, what is on the floor? Ask yourself, "Should I be concerned with the close and other items on the floor?".

Remind yourself, you are practicing patience. Think about the tools and supplies you might need for this blood cleanup effort. Here is a list of tools and supplies that you may want to consider using.
  • gloves
  • goggles or at least eyeglasses
  • respirator or paper mask for nose and mouth
  • walk off towels to stand on as you exit the death scene and remove your shoes
  • plastic bags
  • paper towels
  • carpet cutting tools available at Home Depot or Lowes
  • pliers for pulling and yanking materials
  • window squeegee
  • extension poll
  • flat nose shovel
  • spray bottles
  • scrub brush or abrasive pad or both
  • rubbing alcohol to disinfect hands and gloves
  • bleach
  • Pine-Sol, Simple Green, Zep Citric Cleaner (grease cutter)
  • paint sealer - Zinnsser B-I-N

We focus remains on death cleanup, nothing else. We try to get our sadness put away while we sit and plan our death cleanup, patiently. Once inside the death scene itself, our mind's focus on the objects that must receive our attention. It's usually best to take a break after the first 20 minutes or so. This gives us an opportunity to practice and test our exit from the death scene. Incidentally, after about 20 minutes, the death odors begin to subside. (return)

No, it's in the nose's familiarity with these noxious odors lose their potency. The offending sulfur begins to lessen its effect on the nose nerve receptors. The same process occurs with other odors, offending and pleasant. We begin to lose that powerful and fleeting rose scent so quickly for the same reasons. This process helps death cleanup practitioners on those especially powerful death cleanup odors arising while "cleaning" the scene.
